Nichols horses running OK today with Sonigino placing at 18/1.

Hopefully that can continue in the next where I’ve given Tahmuras a chance to show he’s much better than his Supreme disaster where I thought he got crowded out a bit. Probably good money after bad though

That should go into the notebook/tracker for next season as he will make a serious novice chaser.
 
Someone posted on Facebook that they watered last night!!!? Anyone know if that’s true?
 
Thanks very much for the Famous Clermont steer yesterday, Jinny. Betting wise yesterday was a very good day, with this horse and Dysart Enid being part of a winning treble.

Unfortunately Dads Lad picked up an injury, however. He slipped a tendon on his hock, but the racecourse beer is hopeful that it can heal.

I should have backed Dysart as Luke was v sweet on it yesterday morning, but I had to take my mother for an eye appointment and forgot. However I listened to Harry Cobden and backed Pic’Orhy just now and stuck him a double with Rachel’s. Oh and Fennor won for me to. So a good start for today.

Sorry to hear about DL...it’s a nasty injury and I think Teeton Mill did that?

I think Constitution Hill thought he was out for an excercise canter and at no point did Nico give him the feeling he was in a race.

Probably the least effort he's ever had to win a race and the easiest Nico's ever been on him.

To my eye, State Man would have been right in the mix if running at Aintree. CH wasn't moving like Pegasus and when Nico shook him up he didn't find as much as the media train make out. Hope for others that he's not invincible anyway for sure.

Gone for Champ in the Hurdle. I like the freshness angle and I'll have a back to lay on Flooring Porter as well. Home by the Lee is a nice horse but he and Marie's Rock are too short.

Nassalam has been on my tracker since his debut run of the year at Ascot and it's been most frustrating to see him run at Cheltenham all year as I do believe a flat left handed track is his optimal conditions. Not wholly convinced he'll stay but he's worth a bet now there's been a slight drift.
 
Shame Calico came down at the last there as he was probably running a career best but no match for Jonbon of course

Yesterday I had Found a Fifty in a lumpy single. Form franked at the Festival - finished nowhere

I had Shishkin/InthePocket and Absolute Notions in a trixie. The latter (his Naas form franked by InthePocket and his DRF run franked by Sandor Clegane) pulled up

Irish Point (form let down by No Looking Back yesterday) scoots in.

I ******* tell you, I'm so glad the flat is back. Better, more reliable trainers.
