Another fast race?

Declamation entered in a couple of races. Was entered in a couple of 7F 0-75's at Kempton, which to me would be the better option.

1M65yds 0-80 at Hamilton

1M 0-80 at Haydock.

No Thanks. :)

Declamation.

Don't worry, one day Johnston will hopefully smell the coffee. :)

Slower ground on a stiff 6F, or wait until it's a 4yo and pick up the odd 0-65.

wat went on with reroute? another dud.

just stick to gigllo lads, the man is a machine.

I'm just going over last week's results.

The 3yo sprint handicap on 2000G day is looking fast to me. I reckon this impression is backed up by the distances between the principals: 6.5 lengths between first and sixth in what should have been a tight race. I don't think the 7lbs & 3lbs rises will stop the winner and runner-up respectively. I could also fancy the third off the same mark.

I see Brazen and Purcell, second and third in that race, were first and second tonight at Kempton.

Also, Rundell, from Esteaming's race at York, won there, advertising the chances of Bold Sniper tomorrow.

RED ORATOR, the horse responsible for the fast pace in the TIGER CLIFF race runs at Goodwood tomorrow night. I suspect Johnston could be after a penalty to get him in the Northumberland Plate so I've taken the 240/1 on Betfair for the Plate too.

Munaawib 3.15 Brighton
Produced a speed figure of 63 two runs back off a mark of 52 in a 0-60 in which he finished third to Lord Franklin and Tectonic. Tectonic has franked the form.
He just got beaten the other day in another 0-60, speed figure 38, and drops into a 0-55 here. He must go close.

Some days the right thing to do is to to thump a short-priced favourite and Great Timing is one I'll be having a good crack at this afternoon in the last at Newmarket.

She was already on my radar prior to her seasonal debut at Sandown on June 14, having won a Newmarket maiden last autumn in a fast time on my figures. She didn't get a great ride at Sandown, out wide all the way, and she covered significantly more ground than the winner, Estiqaama, who prevailed by a neck with the two of them eight lengths clear of the third. Estiqaama was 7lbs well-in there under a penalty for a spreadeagling win the previous week. I expected the handicapper to hammer Great Timing for just failing to give 9lbs to a filly he already rated 83 but he only put her up from 85 to 90. Again, it was a really decent time performance at Sandown. Godolphin complicate things today by running two with Barzalona on the other one but Ryan Moore rides Great Timing and I'm happy with that.

Ghanaian for me in that race - came out of that race with Annecdote etc and looks well handicapped.

Diescentric blows in at Newcastle - the 2nd to him lto, Rex Imperator, runs in the 4.40 Windsor.

Diescentric was very impressive today. It will be interesting to see what the handicapper does but he'll only have a 3lb penalty in the big 7f handicap at Ascot. The downside is he'll be very short in the betting.

wen r u going to give up on that race, u just have to tuck it under the carpet now as a dud, maybe re-adjust ur standards?

ive lost best part of £40 on this form line, i bought into the idea along with others supporting it but the time is wrong, if i only i knew how to do it then i could see if it was false or not.

quick atr check says next time out; 10 run, 10 unplaced,

in total 18 runs, 2 places, 16 un palced.

Secretinthepark has an entry in the big 6f handicap at the July Meeting this Friday as, indeed, do several other horses featured on this thread. He's had a good rest, clearly goes well fresh and presumably the more patient tactics employed first time out this year will be adopted once again. Dangers abound, but I'll be very interested in him if he runs.

What do you clockers make of Mecca's Angel in the nursery from Southwell last night. Just the 1.52 seconds quicker than what well-regarded Bushcraft recorded when an easy winner 30 mins later. Timeform have given him a speedfigure of 95 and a formfigure of 99, but I think it's possible both could have been higher.
