Ante-Post Punting Plans/Propositions Thread.

Yeah I was torn between an each way flutter on Flotus or Tenebrism. With a furlong to go I thought I'd backed the wrong one again.

BEDOUINS STORY 40/1 seems like good value for the Cambridgeshire.5th behind MM last time and is 3lb better off and was staying on.

What a lovely day. Went in again yesterday on betfair 50/1 boosted to 55/1.
I'm only a small gambler though.

Fabulous, Outsider.

A 40/1 winner knocked out in a post of no more than about a dozen words, quoting a formline with Magical Morning!

Fecking genius mate.

A man of mystery you really are.

I wish you'd show you're workings out a bit more on here but I can't complain lol what an asset you are to this place.

I'm retiring at the end of this flat season from forum life. At least I know the place will be in really good hands. :)

I've taken a wee bite at Modern News at 14/1 for the 7f hcap at Ascot this Saturday. A lightly-raced 3yo who might be on a steep curve and, if declared, could well halve in price by the weekend. They might even be happy to pick up a penalty for this ahead of the Balmoral, which is worth twice as much, a couple of weeks hence.

BALMORAL HCAP
Bit early to have a strong view until we know what is running but I've had a dabble on MARIES DIAMOND 25/1.
Ran well to this distance when unplaced at sandown where Bedoins story was
just ahead and again ran well in the Cambridgeshire.

Not declared :(

You'd think I'd learn but...

Champions' Sprint, Ascot - Minzaal 25/1 - runs tomorrow making his 3yo seasonal debut but is already rated 111. I presume there have been reasons for his not being seen until now but his entry for the big race two weeks hence points to his pleasing connections. Tomorrow's race is no great shakes. He might not win but a promising run might see a contraction in his odds for the G1 race.

Nice enough.

Edit - As low as 8s in a couple of places but Skybet didn't adjust their price so I went in again at 20/1. Looks a fair opportunity to take a profit before the off.

Nothing is beating Rohann in that race

As I've mentioned James Ferguson, I should note down that after looking at the Ceserewitch I'm really taken by his progressive and consistent improver Snowalot.

He's kept improving on turf, now on a mark of 85, (which will more than likely make the cut comfortably for the ceserewitch, judged on recent renewals). He's my early recommendation for the race.
Kept in at the six day stage. I was dissapointed with his last run when fourth behind Goobinator, but his handicap mark hasn't suffered as a result. I haven't backed him or anything else yet mind.

I know Outsider is keen on Maze Runner.

The entry of Irish sprinter Verhoyen in the York Sprint on Saturday is interesting. This one has won several decent sprint handicaps in Ireland and is 14/1 at present to come to York and win over here.
