Ballydoyle 2 Year Olds 2010

Why looked very much the one to take out of the race- they did not seem to notice on ATR that she had come from a long way back and was finishing best of all.

Lovely debut from Why. The winner, Misty For Me, made some improvement from her debut!

Out again in the 7:35 Galway

My fella is one of six Ballydoyle entries for Killarney on Friday. This is evidence of a new policy to run their best juveniles at this venue.

Judging from his entries the plan is for him to win the Juddmonte Futurity followed by the Racing Post Trophy. He then has a break until the Derby at Epsom.

Admiral Of The Red has justified my confidence by sneaking a place in the top 10 of this hot Killarney maiden.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Treasure Beach running at Ascot. He's done well in his 4 runs and was unlucky last time out to get boxed in. Have not seen him since he was a foal at the sales. :)

Wouldn't like to be pricing up the two divisions at Gowran.

I wouldn't be wading into Long Live The King at 1-3. He showed promise on debut and is sure to improve alot but that maiden isn't working out so well. The first was beaten (albeit in Group 1 company) while the 3rd, 4th and 5th have all disappointed since. It doesn't look the strongest race today so he should probably still win, but he has plenty to prove.

The 2nd division looks trickier with plenty of interesting newcomers. The Ballydoyle '2nd string' was still in the Beresford until final declarations and might be worth keeping an eye on.
