Agree on both points. The big doubt over Apple’s Jade was the lack of a recent run IMO. Hope he takes her out of the Stayers now as she’ll have had a hard race there.

Apologies for the spelling, blagged day off and the excitement and shandys have taken there toll. Time to retire for the evening but hope everyone's had a great day.
 
He knew what he was doing, and I have sympathy for those who say that the race should be taken off the winner in such circumstances. Thought it was ugly. Even in the RUK interview with Honeyball afterwards, I suspect he was thinking the same. (That's impossible for me to prove of course).

There was someone who had put up midnight tour somewhere for the mares without Apple's Jade..fantastic shout and a bit unlucky to finish in front of her and not collect on the win. Whoever it was though cracking shout.

Personally won't be having much tomorrow but Black Op has become a huge result for me should he oblige. Not holding my breath though with how Mullins horses are running and Samcro in there aswell it's a big ask but would be a massive result.

I backed him for the GC at 100/1 as I always think a big priced horse tends to get placed; hope he does run if he's ok [but it would be a big ask after running on such testing ground today].

Shantou still in gold cup for now anyway.

Soloman grey not in the county (he made the cut but he's been removed, couple horses below him on list got in - must be ground related?)

He carried near-enough a stone more than Coo Star Sivola yesterday and they pulled half a dozen lengths clear of the third.

Would definitely be my token each way bet if he gets the go ahead. :)

Aye, I'm disappointed to see Solomon Grey scratched but I didn't back him anti-post so nothing lost.

I'm pleased to see Dream Berry declared for The Martin Pipe. If Jonjo has him fit and ready he'll run a big race. I guarantee it.

Lets get today and tomorrow out the way first though anyway.
