Now this is news that interests me greatly... Must admit I can't say I know a lot about Heskin, but I really thought D Mullins was a liability.
The Tullow Tank just moved up a couple of places in my Novice Chaser ranks !

Agree that Mullins ain't very good, but it does seem a strange choice.

Heskin a very decent jockey with lots of experience. Ml Hourigan minded his claim for as long as he could and won plenty of big races together. Hope they clic together.

That was my reaction-Gosden might be glad to get rid of Buick but Doyle did well for Abdullah this year-unless you want to be picky and include the Guineas.Maybe it's all about the money.

Got to be about money - Did Godolphin even have a Group 1 winner in the UK this year? Abdullah has the best stock in the UK.

it depends on how Gosden's owner structure is for next year as for how many horses are to be ridden by owner retained jockeys. It cannot be easy for Buick to watch Tagrooda and Kingman win all around them while being on the wings.

Gosden will train for Godolphin which makes the decision a little easier to understand.The next logical step for Godolphin is to make Barry Connell reponsible for purchasing.
