Novice Chasers 2019/20

Kennedy broke his collar bone at the Punchestown meeting a couple of weeks ago, and is out until end of November.

Russell stood in for him on Alpha Des Obeaux in the Grade 3 chase that day - I think that's the only time he has ridden for Gigginstown since the proper stuff started back.

Definitely some disagreement between him and Gigginstown as he is riding everything else for Gordon.

Question is will the brothers O'Leary park their ego for Delta Work on Saturday and Tiger Roll going forward?

Hills are 25/1. He's 10s or 12s most other big firms. Its worth the chance at that price. That was a very taking performance indeed.

Thomas Darby a NR at Uttoxeter. Still a very decent race with Summerville Boy, First Flow and Western Ryder in the line up.

Will have to watch Samcros run in work so missed it.

Had financial interest in Summerville boy today, saw he traded at 8/1 in running so turned it off to see he won despite no fallers. Will have to watch that race back as well.

Jumped pretty nicely

Maybe not flashy 2m type jumping but efficent and generally travelled well

He is either very tall or carries his head a bit high but he warmed to his task nicely today

Probably an awful race

I found the tendency to jump right a few a bit worrying.

Very satisfactory and did all that was asked of him. Mind you, a sycamore came second and an oak ran on into third.

Not even close to the form shown by Champagne Classic but certainly the potential to get there.

Despite him being campaigned over the minimum last year, I reckon he’s going to want a trip this season. If that proves the case Gordy is going to have a problem splitting them all up. Either that or they’ll make the mistake of shoehorning him in at two and a half. I’ll say it now, he won’t win the JLT.

Jumped deliberately at quite a few yesterday.
Said last season he wasn't top class at 2m over hurdles, and he looks to need a proper trip to be any better over fences.
