Certainly would think so but has come on for every run this year and has a nice turn of foot. Certainly not a plodder

Irving should be clear favourite.

Nicholls has a decent record in the race, the horse is being aimed at it and arguably has the best form this side of the sea.

12/1 more than fair.

It is. I can only think his entry in the Betfair is the only reason he hasn't shortened with some layers today.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Vautour. Beat Mr Fiftyone 12 lengths, The Tullow Tank beat him 13 so on form nothing between them. I liked the way he came back when he looked beat, won going away in the finish having been very keen most of the way round. Major player imo.

I am highly dubious of all this Willie Mullins stable not being sure which races the horses are going for . I bet he has a very clear idea of at least his first preferences for horses but we are being kept in the dark .
