Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2013

Intello has had such an interesting campaign, you just wonder has Fabre has it in mind since the start of the season.
 
The only disappointing thing about that performance is that the race was over as a contest so quickly.

Orfevre at evens is laughable as is Treve at 12/1. Kizuna with the human handbrake Y. Take is any price you want.
I'd back up a Brinks armor truck to unload on Treve at those prices.

Absolutely thrilled for everybody involved. What a horse!!! Keen most of the way going wide all the way around having to fight two jocks (Doyle on Al Kazeem was more interested in riding Treve than his own) then just crushes the field with a once in a lifetime turn of foot. Was there live when Dancing Brave broke my heart (had a life changing sum on Bering) but this does make up for it in a smaller way. The classic example of why ratings can never tell the whole story. Wonder what the anoraks do with this?
 
I thought visually, they crawled around the bottom turn and that was why it looked more impressive when kicked on. Pente Celebre still my fav Arc.
