QM Champion Chase betting

He'll be a 5/2 chance by lunchtime tomorrow, if reports are anything to go by.

A friend of mine is an on course bookie-good enough to make a modest living from it.One of the tricks of the trade is to get someone to scream urgently at the bookie that the price on a certain horse is going and he must cut it immediately -panic and urgency aren't in short supply
in the message -all done in the hope that some passing mugs will panic and lump on.
The Racing Post ap were today effectively the cnuts passing on the message on behalf of Boyles.

Would you say Henderson is potentially complicit in any skulduggery, Luke, or is it just coincidence that he's issued a very upbeat message about Sacre, the same day there's (allegedly) been a lot of money for the horse?

The Post did quote Henderson direct, so the upbeat message is presumably legit - insofar as the source is concerned, at least.

Nicky Henderson came out with an update story to put punters away in cahoots with the Racing Post and Boylesport.........and it was missiles that blew up the towers.

Tell ya what Luke there's 1850 quid up on betfair at 3.8 if your so sure it's bulshit go lay it for me.........I'm connected right now

If Nicky corbett Henderson told me it was Cheltenham next week i wouldn't believe him...i don't know why he just doesn't keep his mouth shut tbh..let the horse do the talking on the track

There's three words immediately spring to mind:

Binocular......was useless.

Sounds kosher to me; on the one hand he's 'upbeat' enough to say he has an outstanding chance (which he does - even with only modest improvement on his comeback run), and on the other he's honest enough to admit he's not unbeatable - as he once was.
For all his reputation isn't that hot on this forum, I fail to see how anyone could interpret this latest update as in any way Machiavellian.

As I suspected not a cent matched and his price shortened again

Reet you mean well but don't encourage these Henderson hecklers....their snide comments don't deserve a reply. A heckler is just a baiter and their both masters at it:)

Of course it's kosher Reet. Nicky Henderson gets slagged every day and that's the main reason the man only speaks when he has something to say.....often followed by "I know no one believes me"

All because a horse that was all wrong suddenly got better by his ownsome and was declared a runner faster the man thought he 100% wouldn't make it.

57 pounds was matched for almost as many individuals the single highest payout was under 3k according to Betfair. No unusual betting pattern the winning punter absolutely no connection to the yard but suddenly Henderson was a crook.

Just a bunch of tosspots with nothing better to do with their time but whine like old fookin spinsters. Henderson had planned it all along!!!! what a crock of shite.

They still go on and on calling the man a liar but challenge them to lay Sprinter Sacre at 3/1 to 9/2 now and their arses shrivel up.

The truth is they see all those vouchers for their Champagne Fevers Dodging Bullets and even SDG turning to dust in front of their very eyes so they're hoping Nicky is full of shyte,

Sorry lads yer fokcked the Black Aeroplane like I always said he would Returns on March 11th and you lot are fucked:lol:

Tanlic, Henderson lost a lot more respect because of the juicing of his horses - and his bewildered 'Nothing to do with me, guv' routine - than he did over Bino.

What juicing of his horses? Giving a horse tranexamic acid to stop bleeding hardly puts him in the Dermot Browne class where you seem to think he belongs.

Tranexamic acid had been used on bleeder for years by dozens of yard in the country and the Stewards knowingly allowed at certain Irish horse on to run in an win the Cheltenham Gold Cup on it.

Why do you think they banned Henderson when it had no affect on him at all?

Last I heard it was under review on whether it should be allowed or not.

The banning of it does the industry no good at all as it doesn't make a healthy horse got faster it only allows a sick horse to compete.

Can a you imagine how many millions go into racing from owners who purchase a horse and then are told he's a bleeder and cant run?

It's a medicine not an performance enhancing drug and the BHA need a good kick up the jacksy to sit down and have a long hard think what's good for the industry and what's bad.

................archaic bunch of idiotic morons
