Royal Ascot

How the **** did you pick that one out. Can I borrow your pin.

I backed 5 horses e/w.

I didn't fancy Samitar one bit, and though HQ was the best place lay of the season. I ruled out the Wall horse as not good enough, and then felt really confident about the race.

Looking forward to Lyric of Light coming back now.

Be a laugh when this lot take on Golden Lilac in the Rothschild. She'll have to give them a head start.

Any thoughts on the Wolferton?

I like Gatewood and think he may well win, but he's quite short.

I can't figure Mijhaar out.

I like the first 2 Godolphin horses e/w, especially French Navy, who goes well fto, and should go well in this ground. Not on a bad mark.

I think the winner would give any other filly a decent race.

Maybe the one to take from the race is Irish History, just her third start, and the only one who raced near the pace to do well. She ran green late on as well.

Ottoman Empire might be worth a small e.w. at the current 25's.

Re Noble Mission.
Travelled all over them; came to win his race, and just ran out of petrol. Nothing Queally could have done would have changed that, imo.

I think Perennial has a decent e/w chance in the next. The Stoute horse is an awful price.

Jalaa is a nice price in the opener tomorrow. Move to Strike is a silly price at 15/8 best.
