Looks like solid form. Pleasing horses in the frame. Surprised the Ballydoyle horse started at that price, yet still ran so well. Didn't look to be too many sob stories further back.

He handled Newmarket ok and with the dip that track is harder to act on with fast underfoot conditions.

I was being a bit facetious, but does Frankel have the mile record on the round course? I can't think when he would have set that, as I know neither his SJP or his QE2 were particularly fast.

Frankel doesn't hold any course records at Ascot weirdly! Ghanaati owns the round mile record at 1m 38.32s.
