The Long Shot Thread

Ballymalin is another of mine.

Also

West Approach 25/1
Henryville 22/1, Cocktails At Dawn 40/1, Un Ace 25/1
Balbir Du Mathan 33/1

Magi du Ma 50/1 1:30 and Turcoguah 40/1 2:50 both first time hoodies. First one could be anything and should be fit to run after a long lay off.

2.10 Cheltenham

Paddy Power's 50/1 6 places Kapstadt is an insanely good bet.

Good luck with that, Zonglero. I'm on Bear's Affair at 25/1 in the race so I'll be happy to see yours finish second to mine :p

Third Intention 25/1 Topham
6lbs lower than when running 3rd in this off top weight last year and there aren't many better men to have on board over these fences and indeed in this race than Tom 'o Brien.

With you there Fonz.
I also like the Moore horse Crystal Lad in the first.
I had him in NH Cup final day at Sandown and when he jumped second last in front was counting my money until he faded.
No shrewder shrewdie in big hurdle handicaps than the same Mr Moore.

In the Topham, I reckon the following are too long at the prices and could run very well:

Vintage Vinnie 20/1, Irish Cavalier 33/1, Alelchi Inois 28/1, Quite By Chance 40/1 and Solar Impulse 100/1
