Anyone who remembers Jimmy Coogan as the leading apprentice whose master Clem Magnier refused to let him ride after some or other indiscretion when leading the apprentice table in early 1970s would not consider him a "nobody trainer".
He and brother Benjy have forgotten more about racing than a lot of us will ever know.
