Nathan is trying his best to keep gamble entertained but he's not really up to the task - God love him. Johnny G will soon wish he'd never returned and that will be a sad day for TRF and forums such as this as well.

Am I to understand from this, that the legend gamble still posts at TRF?

Dunno why, but I have it in my mind that someone told me he hadn’t been sighted there for an age.
 
He reappeared on New Years Day after a four year absence and has been posting his inimitable missives regularly since then

Most of the correspondents on TRF nowadays seem a pretty strait-laced lot so doubt he'll get much sparring; but for we who remain untrussed his return is most welcome

A few people are now accepting gamble back into the fold. Drone has even written a clever? short post, having thought about it for a couple of days :whistle:
 
Love the way young Nathan tried to be gambleesque and started to call Deaf Jon Jonny deaf... and gamble just asked him if this was a different person :lol: :lol: great stuff!

I see someone has been banned on here even though the boss is quite easy going. You'd have to be some badass to get a lifer, or maybe just very stupid?

In other news - gamble has been delving into the archives in the good (sinking) ship TRF. He's got his Inspector's hat on and looking for certain spellings and mannerisms to trace an old mare, but going too far down that road could well lead to madness, and nobody would wish that on our dear old friend. He probably just wants a break from the deaf Jon stories, if truth be told :lol:
 
gamble reads the posts in this group as well. he's an addict like me. We just can't shake off the temptation of peeking into these basement chit chat rooms full of mainly empty rhetoric. Nearly two decades now and it will probably only come to and end with death, or maybe blindness - but bound to be braille versions these days, so that just leaves the former.

Might post a photo of deaf Jon in the photo section. I've taken a few, as you know, and remember one with some girlies behind him who posed for the camera as well. don't get many girls smiling at me these days :-( Just need to check that I've not posted it already, maybe a couple of years ago. Do you remember said photo?

You are way behind the times, Nathan, mad Ricky likes me now. He asks after me on chit chat and was also very complimentary about my posts in the Kate Bush thread- that's one of the ones that you are meant to be keeping as front page news, the other being my photo thread.
 
That's a bit odd. If you can post in the HR section, ask on there and I expect someone will know. Or I think there's a link to get in touch with the people who run the forum, not betfair. Tell them your need to post in chit chat is urgent!
