TV coverage

It was enjoyable to switch between the two, especially at the times when one was on an ad break and the other wasn't.

At The Races has been very good for Irish racing and they deserve thanks for that.

Couldn't agree more. ATR been fantastic for Irish racing. Let's hope Racing TV can do it justice in 2019.

Looked at both. Rte didn't have the bumper plus I automatically turn off everything fashion related/ Tom Lee related or generally involving Tracy Piggott
Yeah I tend to do the same. What you think of Envoi Allen in the end? As impressed as you had hoped you would be?

As green as grass. Big engine but a lot of growing up to do. He'll need at least one and prob 2 outings more or his head will explode in March

The runner up is really well thought of by the Harringtons

Gordon Elliott says Envoi Allen won't be sent (geddit?) for the Cheltenham bumper:

"He's a nice horse but he’s a horse for next year. We’re only minding him this year. He’ll probably have one more run in a bumper and he won’t be going to Cheltenham".

What meetings or tracks are Sky actually going to be covering? What's left that's of any interest with Racing UK (TV) having all the Irish racing and majority of UK stuff?

Alex Hammond will be lead presenter for Sky Sports Racing

[h=4]5 December: Sky Sports Racing, the new name for At The Races, is to launch in HD on 1 January with a presenting team including Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald, Alex Hammond, Luke Harvey, Hayley Moore and Jason Weaver. The line-up of pundits will include Josh Apiafi, Kevin Blake, Jamie Lynch and Freddy Tylicki. The core schedule from At The Races will continue, with Get In remaining on Sky Sports Racing. Monday Night Racing will be launched with Alex Hammond as presenter. Sky Racing will cover Ascot from March, taking over from Racing TV – Ascot will also be on ITV.[/h]

I get the feeling that sooner or later most of the other courses will jump ship to Sky, leaving Racing TV covering Ireland.
A role reversal of what we currently have now.

Hope you're'correct, Tiggers - though I'd imagine RTV would fight tooth & nail for some of the gems.
