Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never in doubt............Roll on Cheltenham
33/1 B365 paying 3 places
My reason for making, High Treason my single bet ( 9/1 )....€90,000 3 y.o. half sister to fairly useful hurdler/ chase ( stayed 2 1/2 mile General Custard, out of bumper winner/ useful hurdler ( 2m- 3m winner ).
Now 6/1
All the best.
.
CAUTION: Had a couple of quid dutched on the two favs Mr Freedom and Whizz kid.
Whiz kid got up in the last strides which was ok for me but for those who backed Mr Freedom
Seen some smart ass rides in my time that went wrong but Robby Dunne wins the award for worst ride of the year.
Absolutely no reason to be holding the horse up when he was travelling all over those in front of him his exaggerated hold up tatics cost punters a right few quid.
This is my first post for a long time on the board, which just came to my attention again as i received the automated birthday greetings when I was 87 last week. I have been following UK based since 1951. Enough of that, but I thought the good wishes merited a reply. I considered the top class race on the UK mainland today from the point of view of punter value.
Wolverhampton (going forecast St) Market odds from 09.50. Luke Morris is top track jockey with a ride.
7.00 Early market expected 09.50 no's 4, 2, 6 indicating a win restricted to these. Theoretical,strong fav 5/4, contender 5/2, not expected longer than 5/4.
4. Evania 8 tips D2 LTO 32 (2/1 early mkt) 7/4 is my form assessment price so I would want the 2/1 to give me 10%. KP de Foy/D Muscutt are the in form combo.
2. Contact 3 tips D3 LTO 241? (3/1) 6/4 my form 15/8 required. Time off track is aginst this and I believe an AW debut?
6. Nolton Cross 3 tips C&DCD LTO 21 (7/2) 3/1 my form 7/2 required.
My comment: The strongest contender early has to be Evania, but I shall wait for any market moves nearer the off time. Whatever you support best of luck in running
Not having a big bet but I do really like the chances of the fav Mayhem Mya in our late Queen's race......would imagine they'll be a huge crowd there today.
