What are you backing Today? Part 2

12:40 Sandown - Skyace - 1pt each way 12/1 Bet365/SkyBet

Ground may be a worry according to trainer but she’s won on heavy albeit against lesser class of animal but if she gets through it today she has the beating of both Gauloise (twice) and Martello Sky. Ahead of them both in mares novice hurdle race at Cheltenham in March and beat Gauloise at Fairyhouse last April and looked convincing in doing so. Shame there’s not 8 runners for a tidy each way bet for this.

3:00 Sandown - Rolling Dylan - 1pt each way 14/1 WH

Decent course record and finished 2nd here last time running on late after hitting a flat spot. Carrying a low weight today and has a good chance of at least placing if he runs his race.

3:35 Sandown - Navajo Pass - 1pt each way 10/1 Bet365

Will love the soft/heavy ground and capable claimer helps taking weight off today. Softer the ground the better and with cheek pieces on today hopefully he can burn them off from the front and still be thereabouts near the finish.

Absolute shocker of a day.

3.35 Sandown
Backed Zambezi Fix at 11/1 last night for this (now 9/1 best) hoping the return to this C&D will show him in a better light than last time when he didn’t seem to get the extra half mile.
The quick turnaround is a bit of a worry but it’s a good enough price

Thought this fella was going to win jumping 2 out where he was awkward. Not great at the last either

Ardhill landed a proper touch at Ascot and the result was never in doubt.

I have been backing him all day averaging 6/4 on the machine becuase he looks absolutely thrown in again with only
10stone 7lbs to carry.

If there's a serious challenger to him on this ground I fail to see what it is.

Ardhill *** star bet @6/4 1.50 at Fairhouse.

Castle Robin was a good winner at Exeter the time before last and can be excused a lesser showing at Wetherby next time as he lost two shoes.
Bet365 a standout 11/2 but 9/2 generally

I have been watching the betting for the first race at taunton today and therre ahve been some weird things going on.

PN's horse Tango Tara has been matched very quickly everytime there has been any sort of big money for him.about 10k to date,

The favoutite on the otherhand has been matched in a much more ordially fansion at rates from 2.08 down to evens.

I really smell a rat with PN's horse and if I am right JPR will be a steering job for Brendan Powell

JPR One My first ***** star bet of the year @ 2.02 average Betfair.

Jumped poorly and hampered by the loose horse (no more so than the winner). Getting the value doesn’t pay any bills

Racing is crap this week Viking..

I think I'll wait for Mister Fisher's race Saturday at kemton see if the ground dries up a bit.

I see Defi is entered which will have a few lads taking an interest if he turns up

Doncaster, Treble

1.05, Wonderwall, 13/8
1.40, Champagne Superover, 9/2
3.50, Roll With It.

I won't look back in anger if they all click.

Aye, about the best you can say is that he seemed reasonably fit and well. I had high hopes for him, but not from this race which was a sort of bumper chase. Given how he jumped left all the time I suppose it was as well they cut out so many fences.

Not overly impressive from a 2/7 shot!

Would have been interesting had Barnaviddaun not shipped Brendan Powell.

That said, his first time over fences in public, job done you could say.

Certainly needs to brush up on his jumping though and get him straighter.
