Stratford 7.55 Points Of View 5pts e/way

Just seen trainers blog

Back to tonights runner.. a big gamble.. Well a big ask.. Will Points Of View get 3 mile 3 furling?

He has never been anywhere near that far before and I think he will. If he does he will win! It is all about settling and relaxing and....?

German raider Amarillo has a good e/w chance tomorrow in the Timeform Jury Group Three race at Haydock. Plenty of good form in Germany, from a trainer who knows how to send one abroad and win, and having been placed in lots of group races he can achieve a first elusive group victory tomorrow at Haydock at around current odds of 7/1.

With so many of today's races being competitive handicaps, it's hard to be dogmatic about the chances of any fancies but at least these are all worthapunt prices.

Chester 3.20 Area Fifty One
Chester 4.30 Al Muheer / Tellovoi
Haydock 2.05 Brockwell
Newmarket 2.20 Invisible Hunter
Newmarket 3.30 Highland Castle / Rawaki

My main fancy today, though, is Eton Forever at Haydock. I just think this is a proper 7f specialist and his recent form with Gregorian was franked by the latter last week.

Too much going on today so I'm having a small stakes each way patent on bijou Dan, lucky Dan and apache, all will out run their odds and if they all place it will be happy days. Good luck all

I've also had a large each way stake on alejandro, been well backed last twice qnd trainer said was looking well handicapped last time. 3lb rise negated by 5lb claim so hope it goes one better today.

Dutch Masterpiece 5.05 Chester, is in danger of becoming a cliff horse for me but I'm giving him a last chance here. He's got loads of early toe and is drawn to attack from stall 2

Amarillo made it a good Saturday for me for a change. Good luck with Dutch Masterpiece, Sea Pigeon.

Chester 3.20 Area Fifty One [Won 13/2 taken last night]
Chester 4.30 Al Muheer [Won 8/1] / Tellovoi
Haydock 2.05 Brockwell
Newmarket 2.20 Invisible Hunter

Happy to settle for that :)

Shame Brockwell beat for the each-way acc.

Desert Orchid

Newmarket 2.20 Invisible Hunter

Not too shabby for someone not always appreciated. Well done, my friend!

I'm very sweet on Rat Catcher in the 3:15 tomorrow at Nottingham on his second start for new trainer Andrew Crook. Rat Catcher wears blinkers again as he did when winning his maiden last summer, (beating a useful handicapper called Antonio Gramsci, who has scored twice this year already). That was a long time ago, but it's interesting his owner/trainer (?) didn't persevere with him and sent the horse on to Andrew Crook. I think thats a good sign - They must have rated him at some point in time for them to move the horse on so quickly as a 2yo. In other words, he probably dissapointed... but you have to have some ability to dissapoint surely!

Now down to class 6 level, off a mark of 63, I think he is the likely winner and will run a huge race for amateur jockey Declan Cannon, especially after a decent last run. Considering it is a low level race this horse scores 10/10 for me as a bet, just hope he delivers the goods.:)

I'm a big fan of Lines Of Battle!! Back on top of d ground today, improving, I think he'll take a lot of beating. I've respect for Trading Leather and can c the 2 of them having a ding dong battle. Straight forecast for me, LOB to bt TL.

Elsewhere on d card I think Majenta and Maggie Dalton will fight out d 4.20. I'm going to plump for Chris Hayes' mount. Also Waver is open to any amount of improvement and feel she can take the last.
