Louis The Pious (3.30) ran a blinder in the Ayr Gold Cup, only beaten by a horse who's clearly gp3 level, (and runs in one, today). 2nd in this last year, he's almost certainly improved since, yet gets in here only 3lb higher.
Slight question mark against his low draw, but any rain will only add to his chances, and too god to miss at current double-figure prices.

He's only one pound higher.

Managed to get through the Newmarket form early today. Few selections:

2.05 Newmarket - Fiesolana e/w - improving, right trip and ground, others have questions to answer and looks value.
2.35 Newmarket - Green Door e/w - Dropping him out last time worked a dream and comfortably won a group 2, underestimated IMHO.
3.10 Newmarket - Outstrip - Run the seasons best 2yo close and could have won under more patient tactics. Ballydoyle likely to make it a test but if he stays he has a better turn of foot than War Command.
3.50 Newmarket - Oriental Fox e/w - Improving, longer trip suited lto, Murtagh up again, bit in and out but has strong claims.

What was the jockey doing on Amatillo

Looked like he got his hands crossed somehow

Omg haha

Mushir looks useful, came right round the whole field.

Hallelujah each way in the 3.30.
