2.15 Upswing to win - hoping I'm right about Vintage Vinnie putting in one of the best chasing performances so far this season and expecting selection to confirm form

Well done chef. I fancy remarkable lady to run well in the third or fourth race at navan today. Should have beat Ms Brinkleys last time out when green. That's ran well since. Well worth a bet today at an Ew price if your a coward....

Southwell 2.00 Shah Of Persia 13/2 e/way - hopeful this horse will continue to boost the Vintage Vinnie form. I have him rated 123+ but yet to prove his stamina. There are a few other unexposed in the race which is why I'm doing e/way but I think his last race will give him the advantage here. I'm doing him e/way on betfair as still guaranteed 3 places if any non-runners.

Well done for yesterday, will follow you in on Shah Of Persia for a bit of fun.

The other two for my patent today are at Chelmsford....Tenzing Norgay in the 5:55 (seems to have the best form and drifting to a tempting price now). Also Royal Altitude in 7:25 who looks like there's been significant support for in the market.

In an effort to try and get in the black this season I've had a go on Jammy Guest in the 3.55 at Windsor. Yes he's out of the handicap today but his run two starts ago off 65 at Yarmouth put him in my tracker. He flew home under Spencer and although he was poor the next day that race was over 5f, the only time he's ever tried that trip. Conditions are optimul for him today and 20/1 is overs.

Runs again today, didn't get an entirely clear run the last day. Chelmsford tonight I believe.

Cheltenham 3.55 Vintage Vinnie for the hat-trick - couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this f/t/o this season. It send me searching the form of the horse he beat just to be sure and I had to rate him 160+ The two horses I backed who finished miles behind have only confirmed what I thought I saw. Hopefully he will do the same tomorrow and be put away for the Sun Alliance - I've done Roddy's horse in a small r/f/c as well.

Did same but trixie with Loading, excepting twatagan on a 20/1 shot getting in front of Loading, thats the third time Tensing Norgay's let me down

Yeah Tiny..... with Royal Altitude winning, (who was a much bigger price earlier today), and Chefs winner at double figure prices, Shah Of Persia , I would have been on to a good two winners in my patent.

However, due to some sad personal news I didn't get back to a computer (as I'd planned all day) and couldn't reach a bookies, so I'm still working out what's been worse....missing two winners..... or the news I received earlier, (the personal news is much worse obviously!!!).

Anyways, I see this trainer Stuart Edmunds... who I know precious little about...has banged in another winner at a nice price today in the shape of Wolf Of Windlesham over at Ludlow, who looks a novice hurdler to follow. Stuart Edmunds also trains Cloonacool, who Corals price up at 25/1 for the Greatwood FYI! :)

Hope you get thru your personal news OK.

Wolf of Windlesham -saw it came in, surprised as it was only average as a flat horse, will watch out for Clonacool - as long as its not another Lincoln

Distain in the 3.35 at Newbury. Gonna give this one another chance, went into the tracker after a nice effort at York but appeared not to stay last time out over 12f at Newmarket. Personally think it was a lack of pace over that trip she didn't like so 10f today with a bigger field should suit her more. I've done awful with tracker horses at shorter than 4/1 this year so it's a small bet.

Jamie Lynch kind of beat me to it on The Morning Line with this one
Buonarrotti went in the book after a staying on fourth over 10f at Doncaster
12f and cut in the ground saw him finish 1/2l 2nd to Penhill at Haydock last month
After 2 runs since over 10f on good ground he's back to ideal conditions today.

Theos Lolly another notebook horse will have a tough ask against Scrutineer in The 4.55 but Fahey has won this twice and the Ayr run was very eyecatching.

Twister likes a winner at the showcase meeting so Big Casino should be fit as a flea!
