Ballyboker bridge in the cross country @ 7/1. He is the specialist in this arena, up against horses that haven't much/any experience of the course.

Off to Haydock shortly. Already have a nice possie on Seeyouatmidnight and will be backing Affair D'honneur on course.

Also backed Vaniteux and Vibrato Valtat at Ascot. The former looks well treated off 154 and the latter looks overpriced in a race I want to take the front two on in.

Good Luck

Taken 5s and above on Betfair about The Flying Tiger in his British debut in the Juvenile at Exeter. Was stepped up in class in France last time out and went off like a scalded cat. With the champ onboard this afternoon I expect a more sensible ride.

Was at Exeter today. Strange run from this one. Exaggerated waiting tactics while the horse was pulling dickie's arms out, then cruised into contention, but found little. I'd back it next time. Could be decent if they can teach it to settle.

I've been backing third time lucky all summer since I felt Hanagan got him in a terrible position first time out at York and couldn't get out into some daylight. Since then has run consistently well but not managed to get its head in front. Last year was put away after victory in Cambridgeshire and interesting that fahey is keeping him running this year with an Aw debut.

Pedigree has some aw winners so worth chancing again.

I'm also on Kalk Bay. Winner last time out when only just getting up after need ing to get going twice after no room initially I think should hit the frame and 12-1 looks a massive each way price.

Interesting Dan and Harry Skelton are over in Enghien with Shelford. 1/1 at Enghien and 2nd to Kada Riqe at Auteil Lto by a nose giving 11 lbs. Kada Riqe then third 1 1/2 lengths to miss de champeaux with the latter giving only 4lb. Same weights today so through that formline Shelford should be slightly ahead in the betting in my view.

Morning All Fairly new here so want to get involved if I can, I have been posting in the blog section and just stumbled across this thread, having already put my selections up for the jumps I thought I would try to contribute something here if that's ok?

Given the prize money on offer at Chelmsford today it would be rude not to have a glance through the form book, I am quite keen on 2 at big prices

3.30
solar Deity 25/1 e/way hinted at a return to form lto in Deauville the form is better than the placings suggest and back down to an all weather mark of 102 (won off 105 last January) with a 5ilb claimer taking over today he needs a fast pace to go at and it seems the fashionable way to ride chelmsford at the moment is hard and fast so hopefully he will get that well birthed and I hope the horse can outrun 25/1 back on synthetics

Abereeq 14/1 e/way dropped back down to a mile today and still has the look of a progressive handicapper, I hope we see a fanning front running masterclass and he makes all (I am the best armchair jock ever) :) should be a good race to watch

Atb

Denman

Ludlow 2.50
Noche de Reyes and Owen na View look suspect on ground with any soft in the description so I've gone for Tornado in Milan. The other two have well being to prove at the moment

Good luck Denman, welcome to the thread, the more contributers the better. I did look at solar deity, top weight and Jane Chappie Hyam isn't having a good season which put off.

I do think Fanning is one of the best front running Jocks there is.

Tornado in Milan also has a decent pull with Noche de Reyes from their run back in April.

Steel Train (3.30) ran the race of his life when dotting up at Donny latest, and his pedigree suggests he'll be equally adept on synthetics.
