3.00 Newcastle, Beyondtemptation I'm laying this for a place around 3.1. The market is still pretty weak but I'll get on what I can.

Same race, Tim Rocco is around 2.6'ish to win the race. Had a hefty lay on that too. I've marked up many with chances apart from these 2.

In waht looks a 3 horse race I am leaving out PN Danny Whizbang and dutching Truckin Away and Present Value........with a health warning opposing PN can damage your health

I place laid him at Sedgfield looked like he blew up then ran on but couldn't get a blow in. The 25 length was an exaggeration as he was heavily eased but it's not like Micky to step a moderate horse up in class
unless he's trying to get a few more pounds off it's back.........Looks more competitive than Sedgie...place laying him again :0) but good luck

Yeah I'm finding it harder to.get decent angles in midweek racing these days. Spending more time focusing on the Festival, etc. Sick of making bad selections in the midweek just for.the sake of having a bet. Well done for place laying him.

7.00 Kempton-Target Zone

Each Way @ 9-1 [Bet 365] BOG

In good hands for further progression

Won't get fat at the prices, but Matterhorn 4.55 and Jahbath (7.00) both look the business at Kempton this evening, and should provide a safe double at the 4/1+ mark .

In the Lincoln Trial at Wolves Pinnata has a better chance than his tag would indicate. Won a quality h/cap at Newcastle (clocking a useful time), then ran in an even better race over the same c/d but was undone by the steadier pace in the latter (2.2 secs slower).
Back up in trip for this, and Jamie Spencer travels for just the one ride. Not the same horse on turf, and doesn't hold a Lincoln entry, which more than suggests today is the day.
11/2 generally.

My old friend Island Of Life ought to win the Wulfruna. Though she's won her last 3 (including a good one against decent colts), she's realatively unexposed owing to her 'sit and pounce' running style. I reckon she's already better than listed class - with more to come in the future.
At 13/2 best, she's a solid bet in her own right, but should form a useful e/w double with Pinnata, also.

1.50 Sandown
Champagne well is available at 16/1 for this or 14/1 with Hill’s paying 7 places. He disappointed last time out at short odds but only lost the race in the stewards room. The time before he was a short head 2nd to Downtown Gettaway which reads well and he can confirm the form with the third horse that day Russian Hawk who trades at half the price

2.25 Sandown
Totterdown can run a lot better here than the last twice when the ground would have been against him. Two decent runs over C&D in November & December have shown he likes it here and he’s 4lb lower than in December

4th!

Never really looked comfortable, did run on suggesting might need further but probably more importantly softer ground

Red Force One

Is stepped up in trip tomorrow at Stratford [2.10] on softer ground. Should be a simple task, but has opened up at 4-7...

At the prices my strongest tomorrow is Atlanta Ablaze (Cheltenham 5:30).

This mare has improved beyond all recognition since the wind operation, she's won several races this season, gone up over two stone in the ratings, (33lbs).
For anyone looking to take the favourites on, Atlanta Ablaze (receiving the weight) looks a good bet.

I'm on at big prices ew too Martin, but she looks a bit of a good ground specialist on her back form. That said there's nothing that says she won't handle it and the mares allowance could be useful. OK Corral may not see it out, Ballyward doesn't scream plot, Discorama needs to prove he stays it and has to jump better, etc. I can see a surprise in this (at least in the places), and she could be it.

1.55 Lingfield, Shanghai Grace. Around 2.44 at the minute. I'm laying this hard today. This horse is mainly a place horse and I've made money off it before. It won last time out hence the low price which I'm delighted with. Getting stuck in with a lay today.

1.45 Hungingdon, Finawn Bawn, pretty short at around 1.53 but I'm not bothered. I'll take that price. I have this marked up at least 1/5. To me if the horse jumps around it' wins.

2.25 Huntingdon, Vivaccio. This horse is around 1.94 currently. It's drifted in a weak market on the exchange. I tried to have a good bet and ladbrokes limited it.Trying to back this to win now with the bookies as I'll be shocked if the horse stays such a big price for long.

Good luck to anyone betting today.

Cardsharp (3.55L) ran a blinder returning from a break on Saturday, against a better field than this, though having to tack over from his coffinbox draw.
No problem today from his inside berth, and he really ought to prove a class apart from these.
5/2 B365.

7.45 Kempton. Baashiq, around the 4.2 mark, but laying this horse. On paper it definitely should be placed but I have my doubts. Getting stuck into the lay and also the lay place around 1.64.

I'll go one better, if this horse wins tonight I won't have another bet at Cheltenham. I just can't see it winning under any circumstances. I'm looking for excuses how it can win and I just can't find any.

2.35 Hexham, Mcgintys Dream, around 4.1'ish, laying this today, hoping for shorter odds near the off.
4.25 Market Rasen, Jurys Out, around 2.08. This is the best bet of the day for me. Having a decent win bet on this, I doubt it will be this price as the day goes on.

Good luck to anyone betting today.
