3.40 Thurles-Goodnightgodbless

Each Way @ 11-1 [Ladbrokes] 5 Places

She could be better than this rating

I think Sizing Pottsie is Grade 1 material (maybe on heavy, and maybe over 3m in time) and is a very backable price today.

Edit: And 14/1 Emily Moon w/o Sizing Pottsie is interesting at an each way price.

I am of a similar opinion and took positions in line with your thoughts last night. So definitely GOOD LUCK!

Jockey said afterwards "Horse did not travel in early stages of the race"...funny that as to my eyes he was always on the bridle!

Anybody who didn’t watch it live should watch a replay of this morning’s Hong Kong Derby (8:35 Sha Tin). Was a fairly thrilling race to watch.

Downpatrick 2.40 Silk Worm e/way - In his last race he was 5th and the 2nd & 3rd in that race finished 1st & 2nd in the opener on the card today.

Solid run. Good placed effort. In running Betting in that race was very strange....

Betfair seemed to confuse Bread and Butter with Istabraq!!! He traded very short all the way round, despite never being in the race and never looking like mounting a challenge... Very strange.

I have always liked trying to find a jockey or trainer (much to my detriment) who might have a winner or two on any given day.

Trainer W J Lanigan trains two good chances tomorrow.

Clonmel 3:00 Shantou Sisu 4:30 West Is Best

3's and 6's early prices.

Win double?

Nice to be back racing, hopefully some posters will return with their selections and analysis.
Found a horse that may be overpriced in the 1.20 Newc in So Beloved, a very decent horse getting on a bit now and 10 yo. Runs from a mark some 8lbs lower than last year and 15lbs lower than 2 years ago when mainly contesting Group races, hasn't won for over 4 years but a lot of decent placed form.
Think he's better over 7fs and this testing 1m may find him out, but i'd expect him to look like challenging 2fs out so hopefully trade a lot shorter than the 30s i've took, have backed at 25/1 EW 1st 4 as well, only little bets to get started.

He’s my ultimate cliff horse! Total rogue who travels as well as a G1 horse whatever the grade of race. But as always I backed him. I actually asked O’Mearas Secretary once if I could have him in retirement! She laughed and said nobody would want him as he’s a fruit loop at home!

Interesting to see if Agincourt can frank the form of her races last season and show she has trained on in the listed race at Kempton tomorrow (3:55). She won at York in an early season handicap last year with Breathtaking Look back in third, and has a bit of previous with Breathtaking Look.

Given Breathtaking Look has since won at group three level, Agincourt looks a lively 16/1 chance in this listed race. There's a few fillies or mares stepping in to listed company from a handicap so it'll be interesting to see whose form translates the best or who has trained on the best.

As I say, I hope Agincourt can frank last seasons form with a first three finish tomorrow. It'll bode well for horses like Breathtaking Look who are on the upgrade and that finished near it last year. I won't be having a penny on Agincourt but I could see her running well.

Dipping a tentative toe in the murk of midweek all-weather effluence at Kempton this afternoon.

I got a tracker alert last week for a horse that ran in France, chose to ignore it and it pished up at 9/1. An alert came through yesterday for today so I might as well use it as betting fodder.

Kempton 3.55 Nazeef. According to the alert it was 5/2 but it's a bit weak this morning and I had no trouble getting 7/2. On RPRs it only has 3lbs to find but it was on a steep curve last season and could be better again by some way.
