What Are You Listening To Now?

On the way to the gym on tape:

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

They were never a metal band but the second track on that album has one of the heaviest riffs i`ve ever heard.

For some reason, tonight, I was drawn into exploring YouTube for those classic ballads first released in the 70s and 80s. So far:

Arms of Mary
Living next door to alice
You're in my heart
Hotel California
Tequila Sunrise
Desperado
Thankyou for the music
Yesterday Once More
American Pie
Never been to me (probably 90s)

Have I missed any?

Got around to listening to the music I received this Christmas:

The new Eagles album 'Long Road out of Eden' certainly grows on you, especially CD2.

Watched the Jazz Singer DVD that the Mail on Sunday gave away on Sunday. Neil Diamond did some quality songs, personal favourite is "Coming to America"

I have recently taken to play my MP3 player whilst pretending to work.

The last few songs I have listened to are ...

Jolene - Dolly Parton
Paradise by The Dashboard Light - Meat Loaf
I get a kick out of you - Frank Sinatra
Absolute Beginners - David Bowie
Drift Away - Michael Bolton
Brown Sugar - Rolling Stones
Moon Over Bourbon Street - Sting
Robin The Hooded Man - Clannad
Wild West Hero - ELO
I'll be your baby tonight - Bob Dillon

Not cool, but varied.

No, not cool at all. But according to NME readers Pete Docherty is the epitomy of the word. But then again these are the twats you see mooching around with their trousers half way down the crack of their arse so i wouldn`t let it worry you.

I'm glad you said that. I can free my soul now. I skipped the tenth last song which was "Mah Na Mah Na" by Piero Umiliani in favour of Bob Dylan (who was 11th, honest!).
