Aintree

The Morning Line was almost unwatchable this morning, the lowlight coming when we were essentially treated to a 5 minute advert for a local curry house. This was then followed by the 'analysis' of the Foxhunters Chase which comprised of Nick Luck confirming with Graham Cunningham that Mossey Joe can in fact win the race. Well knock me down with a feather!

An embarrassment to racing.

Very true !
Wasted 50 minutes of my life -- which I won't get back -- watching this drivel this morning.

Josies Orders 5.25

If we get in tomorrow Kians Delight will run well

I like Sam Thomas but they always seem to saddle him with interviews of people who he can barely get two words out of.

Carole's Destrier

Might have a bet in the novice chase but can't decide what. I want to be against OW though, looked reluctant at Sandown, fell LTO and is a terrible price.

Have made the missus open a Skybet account and put £30 on TNO as well - free money not to be sniffed at.

Perhaps Western Warhorse - he did beat Fever and certainly will stay. He won't be forgiven even if he wins.

It always amazes me how far from home they all start pushing along at Aintree. That was a classic example.

huge run from silvi conti after his gold cup exertions. glad he's bagged another grade one. very good 3m chaser.

He was just marginally less **** than the others. Argocat's proximity ruins the form.

The staying chasers this year have been awful.

Tell me again what a crappy horse Silvianco is!
Would've won a minute on softer ground.

you've always been against him though. he's had a very good season. we could debate for hours over the standard of 3m chasers atm but he can only be compared to who else he's up against at the moment. he's the best 3m chaser around atm to my eye. and the formbook backs it up. i'm fairly sure he'd beat the likes of argocat & FL much easier if he was fresher.

strange race, as all the other 3m grade 1s have been this season. fair play to the winner, but he was in the right place. the 2 outsiders looked like tailing off at times and both finished close enough at the end. dynaste definitely stays 3m and may have benefited from a stronger pace.

I don't like the way he wanders around. I cannot believe some bookies have shortened him for the 2015 Gold Cup.

FL isn't the same animal this season.
