Fancy A Share In A Jumper With Hen And Terry?

Best of luck - and feel for any of you torn between Huntingdon and Kempton!
Tell Bally Conn he'd better win to make up for it, if you all go...

Ran well enough for a long way but seemed to hit a flat spot after making a few mistakes which was most probably down to all that weight.

Good luck in future races.

Well, there was the weight he carried on his back, and the weight he carried, full stop! Not a criticism, dear owners, but he still looks pretty chubsy - he's a lovely animal, super stride, but boy, he's still quite heavy-topped. You must be pretty pleased with his effort, though, and his accuracy. Let him slim off a few kilos and he'll be tanking in soon enough. Jumps must surely follow in due time, since he looked happy with his work and the attitude looked fine - no fighting, no overracing, no nonsense, and a willingness to TRY to keep going to the line, bless him.

He is a staying chaser in the making - anything before then is a bonus.

But as he's with Henrietta that didn't need saying... :D

great - shall be able to watch and -again- wish all invovled the best of luck; have a great day out.

@ grey: do NOT tell me you can make it over again... B)

Crazy, I won't make it over this time. For some reason flights to anywhere within a reasonable distance of Hereford are unaffordable this week. I can only conclude that the whole of Brussels must be trying to get there.

Is the poor little thing going to have any of his owners there to watch him? :D

Good luck with him all of you.

Absolutely horrible weather today here in Berkshire.

Hope BC runs a good race and comes home safe and sound.

He wasn't the only one beaten miles and miles and miles at Hereford today. Watch Joaaci's race you could see them in the back straight as he was coming up to the finish line.

it was desperate wasnt it, and they had railed out several bits of the course it was so bad they were slaloming down the side of the course.

They were, was disappointed with a few horses today - will certainly take some getting over and wouldn't want to be seeing any of the principals out too soon after today.

Kelso tommorow though - another unique course :)

Ground troubling him? Richard Pitman opined at least twice that BALLY CONN would 'love' it! So what ground does he love?

A fair question, Auntie K. He handled heavy ground fine at Towcester but clearly didn't enjoy himself today. If only horses could speak.
