I have laid Dawn Approach at an average of about 1.68-will possibly double the bet at the currently available 1.65-with Camelot getting chinned there will be plenty of layers laying.

You're right. This horse gets found out today.

had a decentish bet on Hartani here..i think UM has run well on that fast ground today at Donny and 23 lengths back to the 3rd in that last race is good form

The Aga won't be too happy with that outcome, with one John Oxx jockey training the winner and another one riding it.

You wouldn't believe the enormous fcuk up I made. The second horse is trained locally and I backed it to win at 3 figure prices and to be placed at about 13/2.I was so stressed about Dawn Approach I forgot to throw a few quid on in the betting without --(was 28/1 with Powers after CC was withdrawn).
Got a serious kicking there even with the place money.

And the French and Irish versions. If all goes to plan he'll then go for the triple Triple Crown

That's surprises me because it looked yesterday as if he'd already already get 8f as a juvenile, and going on his pedigree you'd think there would be a chance of him getting 10f next year. Sire New Approach is a Derby winner, by a Derby winner (Galileo) out of Park Express, winner of the 10f Irish Champion and Nassau Stakes. His dam is by Phone Trick, whose progeny's average winning distance is only 7.0f, but her damsire was Pleasant Colony, whose progeny awd is 11.0f.

I think the deal is he stays with JSB till the end of his racing career

Not quite.

"The agreement was that I would have him until after the G1 Dewhurst S. [at Newmarket Oct. 13] and that we'd sit down and talk about it then. Obviously, I would be hoping that Sheikh Mohammed leaves him with me, but if he doesn't I can't complain."
- Per Bolger yesterday.

Thanks Miesque, I got that wrong. I hope the Sheikh does the sensible thing and leaves the horse with the man who bred him and trained the sire.

...especially as he has shown such good management of the horse so far. Some going to have a horse that size ready for Mar 25, then Ascot and keep him until now. Memories of Snookera and DKWeld in1977 , though she didnt train on.
