Yeah, he really was a bit far back for me given the gallop - he must get enormous credit for that. That run reminded me of Bago in the same race before his Arc, only Rip didn't have a Sulamani to pass.

I had a decent wedge on for me - i waved it goodbye 2 out

to finish like that off a slow pace at York takes some doing..even in fast races those at front usually hold sway here

I'm not surprised..i was riding him mesen the last 100 yards

I always forget to put the keep lay in - must start doing it

he was ridden as if it was in doubt he fully stayed the trip I thought...did AOB have doubts I wonder...ridden purely for speed

I hope plenty think the same as I am pretty certain he will drop back to a mile next time and think he will have a big chance back ridden normally.

he stayed 11f of the Derby trip a...it was only in the last furlong he flattened out there

today was a speed race though..could be a little misleading

he certainly stayed alright in that..he is still the only horse that ever looked like getting to STS there..that tells you everything about him..best horse in training?

With Fame And Glory likely to take in the Irish Champion (unless they divert to Ascot) then they don't really have much of a choice as to where to go with him.

i prefer him in a properly run mile mesen..he is very versatile though..how many horses could have pegged those two back today?..probably only STS
