Novice Hurdlers 13/14

Rich Ricci speaking on ATR about his novive hurdlers,

Vautour-"I think he could be something special actually"

Faugheen-"We think 2m or 2m4f is good for Faugheen!"

Clondaw Court-"Has been hard to keep right. We're keen to get another run into him before Albert Bartlett."

Have to be very impressed by that. Would be interesting if Ruby had to choose between him and Vautour if both went to Cheltenham. Supreme would be right up his street.

Looks like West wizard won't be going to the festival.wont be risked on the ground,if it doesn't dry up quickly he'll be kept for next season

Adriana Des Mottes possibly looking at entries but I don't know.

Let's assume it is ADM, for arguments sake. Her form in France was fair at best, but she appeared to leave that well behind when she won at Punchestown (backed as if defeat was impossible).

You have to hand it to Willie Mullins and his team of spotters. They not only have an uncanny knack of IDing quality animals that don't, at face value, have glittering form-figures, but they're apparently able to bring about stones of improvement once they have them in training too. There's any amount of prospects they've bought out of innocuous-looking events for less than top-dollar, who have gone on to cover that in prize-money won at Graded-level.

It's quite the feat, and reflects well on Mullins as a trainer (regardless of how you might view some of his more...er - exotic....race-planning arrangements). Ricci has ben the prime beneficiary, and appears to spend his money wisely in comparison to, say, JP McManus.

Insofar as ADM is concerned, if she keeps going in the right direction, she looks like a ready-made replacement for Quevega.

Mullins has any amount of impressive fillies and young mares. Gitane Du Berlais, Vicky de l'Oasis and the unfortunately injured Analifet have all been very impresive as well.

First of all
I think mullins is a genius, the best trainer i have seen
He improves horses , but french ratings are much higher than rpr shows

About jp mcmanus
It is not lack of intelligence, he is a benefactor and gives employment to many people in Ireland that no other one would give.
