Backing Homefarm ew here in the 1.00. Bought for big money, given plenty of time last year, looks a nice type, and taking a chance hes up to this level so soon.

You were right about HDB Luke. Well done.

Just the six runners now in the 2:30.

Fair play to Mikael Dhaguenet, he jumped well today apart from an untidy effort at the second last. I'm not sure how he'd cope though in a stronger race.

Does anyone know anything about Blazing Warrior in the 5:45 at Cork?

I quite fancied the horse when I looked as I know his sire Close Conflict won a Group 1 for Chapple Hyam on Heavy ground. So he'll like the ground.

Looks like he is being smashed off the boards judging by oddschecker. I've gotta get some conkers on.....

A lot better than mine then Ec1:)) I've already been told if I were in a third world country I'd be classed as blind...

Oh Gosh, how sad. Thanks for letting us know. A sad loss for a horse having only his first start. R.I.P Blazing Warrior

Backing As I Am to beat the George hotpot in the last at Fakenham...think she'll do it from the front today and is an ew play to nothing imo.

Sweet on Occasionally Yours in the next at Fakenham. Won off a much higher mark last year, and I mean much higher mark. I think it was something like 125, now rated 107. I think this is a Marble special, but I'm in bad form.:)

E/W will be having a go.

These three for me today.

Bolt from the Blue 2.50 Sedgefield

I believe this horse is back to a winning mark as evidenced by his 2nd placing to Dawn Ride off 65 a few runs back. Runs off 64 today...think a big run can be expected...hopefully!

I've managed not to have a bet today, which was a blessing as it appears all the Lingfield races are hands 'n' heels races.

Midnight Sequel may need the run but looks overpriced to me at 24.0

Lost 100 lengths at the start according to the commentary...good picking!

Right, had one 1/3 winners today which is a mild improvement.

I told myself today was the first day of the rest oy my life, and I already know I've equalled Rory Delargy's record for the past year which is nice.:)

Hexham 1:20 Prince Tam Currently 8/1 - Going to take on the favourite here who I think is short enough and Prince Tam offers good value at around 8-1. Prince Tam is back on his last winning chase mark (90) and has run respectively enough the last twice, a Newcastle specialist (like me!) but Gosforth Park is not dissimilar to Hexham, both left handed and testing tracks. You'd think if there was another track he'd win at it could be Hexham.

Hexham 1:50 Overyou Currently 11/4 - runs off same mark as last week when he improved a bit over the further distance here at Hexham. I think handicapper has given him a better chance leaving him on same mark, (thanks handicapper!), and with his prominent running style you'd think making it a real test from the front would make sense. (NAP)

Hexham 3:20 Funky Munky Currently 3/1 - Stays further which will help him in this ground, has steady form up to now but last run was a big improvement, runs off exactly same mark tomorrow as does my last selection and will take the beating.
