    Doncaster meeting.

Damn, Backed Okool at huge price this morning. Think he would have won that on the bridle. Be odds on next time

    Brexit

Something's moving. Think UK and DE are talking to arrange something beneficial to both sides. Germany really doesn't want to lose its good UK relationship. The war is long over. DE is unwilling to be so dominant on the continent and UK probably won't like it either., alas. Germany really could...

    Brexit

Free movement of people is not a requirement of a single market, but accept it is preferable. As a European you would appreciate and fully understand an ambitious young Greek man or Polish woman both with no prospects moving to where their lives could be better from our southern land to our...

    Brexit

Not read anything on this thread. Lived on the continent most of my life, speak several languages. Find it empowering that uk votes leave despite the massive establishment domination that will stoop to any level to get what it wants,. Many, understandably are focused on own immediate economic...

    The 2016 Grand National

A lovely field. Did onenightinvienna last week, hope it runs well in the Reynoldstown, Saturday though thought he was going straight for this race. Wanted to do Wounded Warrior, but read he's probably out for he season. Maybe next year. Outsiders Aachen, Present View if he's in the right mood.

Road to the Arc de Triomphe

Just don't see GH as a great horse. Maybe bcos the Derby is just another gp race now., thought GH has assured this yr. Agree, jockey had it his own way, today. Shame about Treve, seems like jockey was looking after her, probably didn't let herself down.

    Rest of Longchamp

Only had few bets today and only return on Flintshire to a place. Bathyron in the stayers and Elliott horse in the last at Uttox.

    Rest of Longchamp

Spot on with Limato. Candy has always been saying the horse is lazy in his races. Obviously plan to drop in, than find trouble in the ruck, but looks more like he dwelt and from there against a Guineas winner with plum draw....

    Cambridgeshire

Coming round to Brendan Bracken, often looks one paced, not ahead of the handicap, but strongly run 9f, nice draw, light campaign this year and almost classy back form, big price.

Think Polar is non runner. Alot of the fancy horses are all drawn wide. Might get a bit rough if they all tack across. I've done Forgotten Hero and may do 3rd Time Lucky as well.

    What are you backing Today?

Don't think the Gp3 at Haydock will take alot of winning, so it's Fanciful Angel, not beaten far in the Jersey. Great Hall (ew) runs his best races at Haydock if he would only put his head down. Antiquarium is so well in at Ascot unless Dartmouth is really worth the hike. Taajub must get a place...

    Today's racing

Oh well,,... but I'd never be afraid of a Richard's horse in a bumper. More good racing tomorrow from Ireland and the return of Now or Never, though think I'll just watch that one and get the money back on something else.

Oh, that sounds good. I backed that earlier this morning. Only one win today, so I'm still down....

    Today's racing

Some great racing all over today. Arabian Comet got a shocking ride last time, so they put a real jockey on her this time. I'll have that with Wadi Al Hattawi. Others due a change of luck today are BoldLass and Green Light. Lumiere's maiden win has been crabbed, but Shadow Hunter ran well last...

    Peter O'Sullevan

What a star. Voice of a generation for those that love horse racing. Minute silence at all racecourses is expected. p.s you are forgiven for the 1990 Triumph Hurdle.

    Galway 2015

Early days, but that looks a nice filly there at Galway, Now or Never, though she could have stile a march on them. Track the form back - Vitello/ Miss katie Mae/ Ballydoyle/ Final Frontier.
