Would have to disagree, if Binocular stays sound he could be any thing. That was a good field he destroyed in CH, even if Go Native got injured at the second. Big Zeb was a good winner, but he's never struck me as a top class 2 miler in the mould of Moscow Flyer or MM.

I've no problem with that. My problem is with the obsession with one horse who wasn't good enough, with hardly a mention of the winner. Roll on 2011 and Weapon's Amnesty's turn!!!!!!!!!!

This thread is obsessed with Kauto, he lost. IC won impressively because he jumped, get over it. If it were the other way round this thread would be all about Kauto's "majestic" performance. He makes mistakes, he got beat, get over it.

Agree, the certainty with which Kauto is being supported has little basis. He's favourite, and has every right to be, but Denman can be incredible on his day, and Kauto has run and jumped badly before. I think they would be very very close, if they both had a good day, and if Denman was ridden...

You'd want to be very optimistic to be backin him, even at 16s. He's held by Solwhit and Go Native IMO, not to mention Punjabi, who he didn't beat last year. Throw in Zaynar and the case against is too strong. If he were from another yard he'd be disregarded as a no hoper.

Zaynar is now at backable price. May simply have been a ground issue. 8/1 each way is good for a horse that stays well. Also, interesting that alot of the contenders want good ground. Certainly soft or worse would take Go Native and Medermit out of it. Solwhit could be the sound play, goes on...

Kauto is by far the most vulnerable. Could see MM winning by half the track again, theres nothing much to beat BB, slight concerns bout Dunguib jumping but what English horses are goin to beat him. Menorah didn't look to have half the engine of Dunguib at weekend.
